Picture of New Diver Pro Strap taken from new Runway catalogue..... if anyone's interested - comes with folding clasp NOT Buckle

Not the best scan, granted but I am inherantly lazy and cropping just seemed too much of an effort !!

I'd need to see a bit more of it before i could make my mind up.

I'll vouch for the inherently lazy comment too :uplaugh:

Having seen it in person I have to say that it did nothing for me. It's solid and I wouldn't describe it as cheap, but from a style standpoint it's just bland - there's nothing to it if that makes sense.

It makes sense Roff. The Diver Pro and Ocean Racer both have distinct styling and details. The new rubber strap is so bland and boring.

Ever since I saw it in the Basel pictures I'd had the same thoughts..And after seeing it again here nothings changed, I can see where someone said it looks cheap. That boring look just dosent go with the brand imho.

I think its just a different design direction. Its much more basic and (imo) versatile in the sense that it can probably be worn with more types of attire. Its definitely more boring, but im pretty sure its intentional, like the rubber straps from companies like JLC.

I'm not going to rule it out yet and would really like to see a Ocean Racer version.

It's hard to say I don't like just from that picture. I'm guessing it will look much better in person. And once you find the right combination for it, those rubber straps tend to just jump out and grab you, so you never know.
