So while I typically collect IWC, I've always liked the Breitling Superocean Steelfish. While divers are not typically my thing, something about that simple textured dial and solid brushed Professional II bracelet really made me think twice. So thanks to my new friend, SWSovereign, I was able to take ownership of this beauty of a piece. Please enjoy the quick and dirty shots of this watch and his brother.

Welcome and congratulations on the new Steelfish. I love the lume shot pics.
Wow you could read by the lume on the IWC!

Actually, I think the Steelfish lume is a tinge better than the 3717. It probably looks the other way because of the focus of my camera for that particular shot. Thanks for all the compliments guys.

Beautiful piece! I especially love the metallic hue on the textured dial.

Wondeful choice. I have a white-dialled Steelfish sitting here next
to my Ingenieur 3227, and they complement each other beautifully --
just like your 'fish and Pilot's Chrono look like true comrades Wear them
both in good health and enjoy, enjoy... :D

I think the Steelfish is a tough deal to ignore. Good size and very high fit and finish. I´d be intrested for a white dial (or silver) Steelfish but it´s a little too creamy tone for my taste. :( It still looks very handsome but I like a more "clear" tone like the white on the SA or the silver on the Chronomat. It´s just in the right price range for me right now and offers so much bang for buck that I still might go for one. :? :?:

Congratulations, I like your style. :D

I used to have a Steelfish to go with my 3717, I'd still have it if it had been the black dial version like yours. The Steelfish is a lot of watch for the money.

Yeah after wearing it the past two days, I must say that I am impressed. It is a very substantial piece and feels extraordinarily solid. However, I am committed to saving up for a IWC 7-Day Portugese next.

Congrats on the Steelfish. I think it is a great watch. I went for the black dial as well, I looked at the white face but I found the black to pop a bit more. Enjoy it.
