A friend of mine bought one, and it looks great, but we had it checked by a jewler, and he said that it might be aa fake. Thee reason he suggested it was fake, because the date dial had red numbers, and he said that he never seen any bently's with the red date numbers. Has ayone seen a bently with red date numbers? Please help me we need to know

Unfortunately it sounds like the jeweler may be correct. I'm not aware of any Bentley's with red date numbers.
Any chance you could post a picture for further confirmation?

Guys I'm going to retract that statement. The Benley Motors may have a red font.

Yes, there are several models including the 6.75 and the Motors series that do have the red font. That of course doesn't necessarily confirm aunthenticity. I would still love to see some pics.

May I respectively suggest you take the watch to a Breitling AD for inspection since the jeweller you have taken the watch to clearly is not an expert in Breitlings.

Or post pics here and we'll take a look.

The GT also has red numbers. I notice the fakes have more of a reddish color, whereas the real ones are more reddish maroon.

Here is a link to a page on the Breitling for Bentley website. The first one that pops up - Bentley Motors - definitely has the red font for the date.
I wish they would have made the effort to make the background of the date match the dial colour instead of mucking around with the font colour! While I do love Breitlings, it is my biggest pet peeve with almost all of their watches. That damn white date background! :x
Cheers,
Carl

I want to thank everyone for their help. we took it to a AD, and they opened it up. They confirmed that it was real, but it was an older model.
