Just bought a navitimer second hand, not sure which sites would be good to obtain international insurance on it. I don't have home insurance (renting) and live in Dubai. Would prefer to insure it via the UK for a policy that would cover me globally. Any ideas? |

Dick, if you're in Dubai, do you have any government/military connection? If so, USAA is a fantastic company to work with on insurance and lot of products, and cater to international operations. Even if you don't have the connections, you may want to ask them if they would cover you. |

If you can purchase a renters policy, then you should be able to add the watch as a scheduled item endorsement. |

In my limited experience most rental insurance policies have a separate items policy for jewelery.. As a type of add on, so make sure that you can indeed insure the time piece under your insurance, and declare the value unless they make you provide a bill of sale/ receipt. |
