Hi All

Interested in older Aerospaces - think they look better. One in particular on ebay I like the look of - item number 120393836775 on ebay.co.uk. Opinions please, in particular, of course, on the price, given that it is 1. effectively brand new (NOS), and 2. has no papers/box included with the sale.

Thanks

I think that the watch and the band look ok. The price to me seems a bit high though. There was recently a discussion on a similar watch and I have posted those threads for you here.

Hope this helps.

Thanks br549. I saw those threads. How much of an issue would it be that the watch does not come with box or papers when (if) I sold it on? The fact it is basically brand new is pretty appealing though.

I can't see the documentation really having any significant impact on the resale value.

I know you want an older Aerospace but for a few dollars/pounds more you could get this one. Still with warranty and all of the papers. :D

TBH the fact it had no paperwork had very little difference on t6he price as it si virtually impossible to fake a Aerospace properly so all of the ones pictured are rael apart from the obvious fakes,Whereas some of the others are less easy to see fakes.
But they seam to be valued around £500 upwards I have seen one on another forum recently for £700 and thats with all paperwork.

Yes, prices is high. Being sold by a dealer so he'll have to pay 15% vat plus eBay/PayPal fees on the selling price plus 20/40% tax on his profits.

You will always get a better deal from a private seller, preferably on a forum like this.

Depending where you live, take care to factor in import/customs charges which can easily add 25% to your cost. Shipping and especially insurance also needs to be considered as many couriers exclude watches from their cover.
