I am selling my Skyland and have had some interest from international buyers. Has anyone sold a watch and shipped it internationally? What was your experience? Anything important I need to know?

Thanks,
Mike

Haven't shipped one as a seller but I bought one from Italy last week. It was shipped express UPS on Friday the 17th and I received it in the states on Monday the 20th. I thought that was pretty fast.

Fedex Overnight works flawlessly, plus it is tracked every step of the way so you know where it is all the time. I have done this USA to England a few times with great results.

So I guess the big question is, did you have to pay customs or taxes when you received an item that valuable in the mail?

Well, that's a good question. I didn't pay anything at the time of delivery and didn't pay anything up front. So far so good, but I can't say that I won't get something from customs in the next few days. Hope not. :D

There was a thread on customs a couple of weeks ago and I have linked it here.
