If I had a choice between the SOH 46 and Planet Ocean Chrono I would go with the Planet Ocean Chrono..there is just something about that particular Planet Ocean that grabs my attention.

For me, based just on aesthetics, Breitling SOH Chrono.

I think the overall look of the SOH is more refined. I like the subdial layout much better. I expecially dislike the small 6:00 subdial on the Omega. The hand styles are also another problem for me. I have never been crazy about the looks of the Omega hands. Another thing I like better about the SOH is the date wheel contrast. I find it much more difficult to read it on the Omega when compared to the Breitling.

Cheers

IMO, and not just because this is a Breitling forum, i'd go with the SOH46 Chrono over the PO Chrono.

However if I were buying a non-chrono model, i'd buy the Planet Ocean over the non-chrono SOH.

The chrono on the PO just makes it look messy.

I prefer the PO. The SOH is undoubtedly very nice, but for me the PO just has something a little extra.

Having said that, I think Jay makes a good point about the PO chrono - in my view the placement of the date, in particular, detracts from the overall appearance, and it doesn't look as neat as the SOHC. I still prefer it to the SOHC, though.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that I prefer the straps and bracelets available for the PO to any of those available for the SOH.

The PO Chrono is an amazing watch, I love mine. It is not as serious a watch as say a 6.75 or an old Chronomat. But holds its ground against the SOHC in my eyes, its a matter of personal style at this point.

I'd go with the PO also. I'm just not a fan of the mesh bracelet for the SOH Chrono.

I'd probably go with the SOHC but only on leather or OR - I still dislike the mesh. Nothing wrong with the PO Chrono either - it's just a little more "ordinary looking" to my eyes. The SOHC just strikes me as a little bit more distinctive.
