I have the diamond bezel on my CA, but I was thinking that I should get a hold of a spare bezel before they become impossible to find. I haven't had a chance to check with my AD yet, is there someplace online that I can get a new bezel quickly and painlessly? Thanks.

Not that I've ever seen. I've seen a couple of standard SA bezels on eBay in the past, but no CA bezels. I think your AD will be the best bet, but there is also a high chance you'll need to go to an AD that is also an approved repairer. My local AD isn't a repairer and as a result they can't order parts. However, another AD I know IS a repairer and they can get parts very easily.

Breitling SA and Breitling service centres will not sale parts. The only way to aquire a new bezel is to have Breitling install it for you. Unless you are very very good friends with someone at a service centre, you will not be able to purchase the part alone. If they did sell you just the part, they would risk losing their contract with Breitling.

Having said that, I wouldnt worry about spare parts. You will be able to have the bezel replaced even 20 years from now. Breitling Canada informed that they are still able to get most parts for Breitling's dating back to the 1950's.

Thanks for the info guys. I was just worried about getting a new one if I ever needed one, and the guy who installed the diamonds on my bezel made it sound like no big deal to get a new factory replacement. I guess I can just deal with it later, if indeed the need arises.

My own personal experience of this kind of thing is in slight contradition to Breitling-nutt's experience.

A while back (before I bought my Le Mans) I was thinking about swapping out the knurled bezel on my Motors for a Motors T bezel, so I spoke to my AD about it. They told me that as they are not an Approved Repairer, they cannot order any parts at all from Breitling. I then phoned another AD who also happens to be an Approved Repairer, and they were more than happy to order me just the bezel all on it's own and with no proof that I even owned a Motors T (which I don't!).

Obviously I'm not sure if this was just an isolated case or anything, but it seemed that Approved Repairers are quite happy to order parts for you.

Adding to that, I'd try to get the bezel sooner than later. As the CA is discontinued it will become more difficult to get one the longer you wait.

I'm bringing this back up as I'd really like to get a new bezel for my Chrono Avenger. I checked with my local ADs and either they won't order one for me (or can't) or they want me to send the whole watch which I'm not ready to do yet.

So, if someone can steer me to an AD who can order the bezel for me, I'd appreciate it. Alternatively, if anyone has an AD near them that can order the bezel and are willing to get one for me that would be fantastic. Thanks.
