Hi all new to breitlings but not new to watches in general.

I have a mate who is getting rid of his 1yr old navitimer cosmonaught black dial and black leather strap, he's offering it to me for 1850 GBP i'm tempted but just have no idea if this is a good price or not and how well this particular watch holds its value. Any help would be appreciated

If it is authentic, in my opinion, that would be a good price.

A caveat however. I would make certain of the documentation. A watch of this age should probably be accompanied by the warranty card/book , cosc certificate and I would even imagine the original boxes.

You might want to post a few pics on here for a look.

there is no doubt its genuine, he bought it from the Breitling shop in the mall here in Dubai (where i live). He not short of a few quid and he has a few breitlings, he just never wears this one, say's he's only worn it 5 or 6 times since he got it. Has box papers etc with it like.

Considering the retail is approx £3800 / £3500 UKP on croc / leather, and its a genuine watch with papers and only been worn a few times, I'd say its a bargain!

With the usual caveats and assuming all is has he has said is right then you have a bargin, Oh also a wonderful watch! Grab it whilst you can, the worst that can happen is that you do not like it and then probably be able to make a little on it!
