Just looking for your guys thoughts! For those of you who love your Lings on either the OR or DP black rubber...what's your favorite Ling that is complimented by the rubber strap?

It brings out the black dial more than the ProII, I love it.

I feel the avenger series looks best on rubber. I have yet to fit a metal bracelet on any of mine!

It's a great watch and one of the most masculine(sp) Breitlings imho. I got one and never looked back.

Straps are bad enough but RUBBER, give me a break,

No true LING man would EVER allow his LING to be DEGRADED with a RUBBER strap. I need some help here from the other older guy's like Driver8 and Roff. Quite simply Rubber is for TIRES !

when u have a job in proffesional sports, rubber works great there is my professional opinion. i dunk my arms in hot tubs, cold tubs ice buckets wrap ankles, and the last thing i need is it scraping on the skin of somebody thats making 10 mill a year. so its perfect.so if i want to wear rubber then i cant have a breitling? thats what your saying right? wee its a pretty dumb statement seeing that everyone has different likes and dislikes.

dbniner, don't take acceldebt seriously.

He's been around here since the start and is the guy behind the 'Full Ling'. He is well known for being a bracelet guy and delights in playing devils advocate on these things.

If you look back to the first year of BreitlingSource there was very little love of rubber straps. Then along came the OR and opinions immediately moved to 'wow this is great, so much better than the Diver Pro'. This has now evolved further to the point where the Diver Pro is becoming a more popular strap.

I have a Diver Pro for my BlackSteel, my wife has an OR for her SOH, but to me, rubber is still a niche market.

Roff beat me to it, I was just about to write about Ling Man's love for bracelets.

Thanks Roff,

Now I guess I'll "Bend" and keep an open mind and go out and buy my girlfriend some Diamond Ear Rings that hang from Rubber Bands because she likes to swim.
