Post subject:  Breitling Superocean Heritage Bronze

Hi, I'm new to Breitling but collect another brand. I currently own a Rolex Sub, SS Daytona and Milgauss GV. I recently saw a Superocean Heritage and fell in love with it. I especially like the mesh band and the bronze version. I searched this forum and did not find alot of owners of the bronze or even the black or blue version. I'm interested in the bronze because it reminds me alot of the now discontinued GMT II in Bronze (root-beer). I wanted find out how owners of the 38mm compare the size and feel to the Sub. At the same time how does the 46mm feel. I had a 44mm Panerai for a while and the size seemed to large for my wrist. So I'm not sure about what size to go for. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Regards.

Hi, and welcome aboard.

I think Roffensian's wife has a 38mm SOH and I think there are a couple of picture on here somewhere. Try a search on the site (search function top right).

In terms of the 46mm version - although I don't own one I've tried one on, and like all Breitlings it wears slightly smaller than it's size would suggest. However if you found the 44mm Pannie too large, I think the 46mm model will be too large also. To be honest if you are used to Rolies, most Breitlings are going to seem huge........ although the 38mm model may seem just a little too small. Unfortunately, as I'm sure you know as watch collector, there's no substitute to trying one on.

My wife does indeed have one, and she is very happy - but no wrist shot to show, sorry.

Go for it! Get the real mans watch at 46mm... I have a 6.25 wrist and it looks great.
Here is a shot of my chrono version
