Hi everyone,

Just changed the strap on my Chrono Avenger from PII to leather.
I've always thought Breitlings look better with leather straps, and for me is one of the defining features of the brand.
I've also noticed that people notice it more with the leather strap, and you get many more people commenting on it.
Which do you guys prefer?
(These pictures arnt too great, I took them with my cell phone)

Also, while i'm on the subject of straps, do any of you guys regularly chane the straps? and if so, do use use any special tools?? or just attack them with a screwdriver like I do

Both look pretty darn good to me, but I prefer the Bracelet. I like Croco straps with deployants as well!

Metal. I think the strap has a more classical look to it which is always good for those formal nights although I probably wouldn't go with the Brown leather. I really like the croc stuff. Exotic.

I only went with the brown leather because thats what Breitling spec for it in the chronolog. I must say I personaly prefer the leather as I feel it gives the watch a more retro look.

I also prefer the croco, but thought that if the big-wigs at Breitling had spec'ed leather then it might be the better choice (with regards to looks)

Might try a croco in the future tho :0)

Also does anyone know if you can get a UTC with a white dial? I've never seen one, but would consider one if it matched the white watch dial.

HA HA HA!!

Oh no, he's gonna flame me big if he reads it...let me try again....

Ok... ahem..., I'd much prefer a 3" thick 24 carrat strap encrusted with black diamonds (harvested from the moon), inlayed with pink unicorn horn, and sprinkles of actual fairy dust.

There.... think I might have just got away with it :0)

Phew

Nice collection :D

But I'm with admin, I've only ever fired up my cigars with a wooden match. It just seems like the right (english) thing to do, although I think it also has something to do with George Peppard in the A-team.

Mossy,

I won't give you a hard time on this one and I understand the tradition of the wooden match with Cigars. However, when you get a crooked burn on a cigar these torches are great because you can burn off the Canoe in a matter of seconds, also these torches work in high winds. I'm surprised Admin was aware of this old time tradition because the poor, misguided fellow is still wearing unpleated, flat front dress slacks. Have a talk with him and see if you can straighten him out.
