That was introduced in Basel. I noticed a bunch of comments on another forum that were along the line of: Finally a Breitling I like. For me, I much prefer my new SuperOcean to the Heritage. Regards, Jim |

Saw some pics of it but haven't really read anything yet.. Don't think too much of it yet.. looks less Breitling-like to me.. more like an omega seamaster or something. Give me my Rider tabs anyday! |

I have to agree with you there...just seems too 'plain' for me... 
And from what I've read, it's available in two sizes (38 and 46mm) - why? The more I look at it, the less impressed I find myself - Rolex did this all those years ago with the Submariner - and for me, they did it far better than this. Note the loss of the Breitling 'wings' too... |

I guess the thing that surprised me was that it seems Breitling doesn't get any more respect in that "other place" than TAG does. BTW, I finally got my Breitlang hat yesterday. I'm sure It will see much head time as ll add that to my rotation of hats. My hat collection is much larger than my watch collection of 2, my SO and a Citizen Eco Drive, which hasn't seen any wrist time since the arrival of the SO. Regards, Jim |

Yeah... a lot of people consider Breitling like a blinged out Tag Heuer. I personally think that they are much better looking, but Tag is getting much better too... i really like the new Tags. I think the next Breitling on my list is going to be the Super Avenger.. alwys thought they were too big but I want one now.. 48mm baby! |

I dont like it I agree it looks too much like a rolex or a tag, and dosnt look like it will have the wrist presence that we all love and makes a Breitling a Breitling. Does anyone know what the thickness is? if its got a good thickness to it then it may look a little better - but i'm not impressed so far. Also does anyone know what the RRP will be? As for the wings missing - Must we assume someone at Breitling did'nt deem it worthy and left them off as a protest? Mossy :0) |

I like the applied wings logo.. i personally wish they made some more Navi's with the applied logo.. i love it. But i can see with the Heritagey looking Breitlings like the Chrono-matic and this one how they'd want to keep the old-skool B logo... it makes it look heritagey

Admin, I'm with you on the size issue. I've been seeing all this talk about the crazy "big watch fad"... and how ludicrous it is. Yet on the other hand, after 6 weeks of SO ownership, I'm beginning to wonder if 42mm is too small for me. SA or possible a Skyland. Or who knows the new TAG Calibre S Aquaracer looks pretty good too. Jim |

I think it's a nice looking watch. But yeah, not inline with Breitling style. Don't get me wrong. I like it when they innovate new styling but in staying true to the original super/transocean it looks too much like an omega or rolex. |

I have to say i really like the model with the small seconds.. i been waiting for a gents Breitling with small seconds, and here it is. I hate the mesh bracelet though, so maybe on leather or croc.

I see a lot of comments regarding how the new SuperOcean Heritage looks like am Omega Planet Ocean. Some forum members even said that the new SuperOcean Heritage does not have the "Breitling look." Please allow me to offer some much needed guidance. The SuperOcean Heritage looks nearly exactly the same as the ORIGINAL Breitling SuperOcean that was released during the 1950's. Perhaps it is Omega that copied Breitling's classic design. The SuperOcean Heritage does not look like current Breitlings because it is reissue of CLASSIC watch, hence the plain, retro look. Another ridiculous comment was made regarding how Breitlings are "blinged out TAG Heuers." You are kidding, right? Do you know anything about the movements of said watches? Please allow me to educate you. TAG uses base ETA movements. Breitling purchases ETA movements and kit form. In other words, the movements are purchased in pieces and assembled by Breitling Chronometrie. At Breitling Chronometrie, watchmakers fine tune the movement parts and replace some parts with higher quality components, in line with Breitling standards. This is a huge difference from that of TAG movements, where you only have a base ETA movement with a TAG Heuer stamp on the balance wheel. Furthermore, the craftsmanship of Breitling leaves TAG in the dust. Don't even try to compare the two in that regard. I also noticed how another forum member disparaged the Rolex Submariner. What are you smoking? Comments like that don't even deserve a response. |

Trust me, I understand that a Submariner can do decades worth of good service....I thought I joined a Breitling Forum! I personally think that we all own the superior watches of the two companies. ...no matter what the the Breitling looks like. -Ray |
