I cannot decide which one is better!!! Aerospace or Airwolf, what do you like about them and why? Help me decide! Price is not a factor, they are about the same. What does one have and the other doesnt? Thanks, cRaSiAn1030 |

You can watch a review of the aerospace here on Breitling source. Differences are materials (Titanium for Aerospace, Stainless Steel for Airwolf), the weight (aerospace is superlight) and of course the watch's design. Most importantly, all functions on the aerospace are controlled by the crown/pusher, which might be annoying if you use the chrono and other functions a lot (as seen on the video review). The Airwolf has 2 separate pushers to control this and a normal screw in crown, which make operation of the extra functions much easier. I believe they both have the same functions though. Also, the dial of the Airwolf has changed from 2008 to 2009, and I prefer the new 2009 dial. Please try to check both Chronolog catalogues to choose which one you prefer. 2008 has a concentric ring dial, 2009 has 2 columns of "ribs" running vertically on the dial. Airwolf also has lumine numbers on the dial, whereas the numbers on the Aerospace are metal. Lastly, the Airwolf has a third hand for minutes, which the Aerospace lacks. I prefer the Airwolf over the Aerospace because of the design and easier access to functions. Although a crown/pusher (Aerospace) is somewhat more special, it might annoy me after a while if I use the different functions often. Good luck with your purchase! BTW, I saw the Aerospace (with Co-Pilot) featured in "thick as thieves", the movie with Antonio Banderas and Morgan Freeman, where they both wear one. Antonio later wears an IWC as well. |

both are great, many people I work with have aeros, & I have the airwolf. The airwolf is easier to use due to the extra two buttons & has the advantage of a slide rule, if you learn to use it(I use mine everyday). The aeros is more sporty & the titanium finish hides scratches better, whereas the airwolf is more dressy due to being polished steel, but is much heavier & bulkier. Sometimes a problem with dress shirt cuffs. The aero is a more understated look, the airwolf more presence. Depends upon the look you want mainly, they both function very similar. good luck. |

Both good choices and both have excellent functions. The Airwolf just takes them one step further. You need to try both of them on and go with your gut feeling. Prepare for an über-summary: - Aerospace is Titanium, matte finish. Super light. 38.00 gr. - Airwolf is Stainless Steel, polished finish. Heavy. 106.70 gr. - Aerospace WR is 100m. - Airwolf WR is 50m. - Aerospace has no seconds hand. - Airwolf has a seconds hand. - Aerospace functions are controlled through a single crown with integrated push-piece. - Airwolf functions are controlled through an integrated push-piece crown as well as 2 separate pushers. Enables more functions (split and add times on the chrono, etc.) - Aerospace chrono max is 48 hrs. - Airwolf chrono max is 99 days. - Aerospace calendar is programmed for 4 years. - Airwolf calendar is perpetual. - Aerospace countdown timer can be programmed to the minute and has to be programmed before each use. - Airwolf countdown timer can be programmed to the second and can reset to what time was programmed last. - Aerospace has a 2nd time zone display. - Airwolf has a 2nd time zone display with separate alarm. - Airwolf alarm is louder (thanks to the case back) - Airwolf has a UTC display. - Airwolf has a slide rule. - I need to get out more! ![]() ![]() |
