Hi Everyone, Just purchased my second Breitling an emergency mission. Whats the latest regarding the production of this watch is it going to cease? Anyway I love it! Bought a Bell and Ross BR01-94 Ltd edition on tuesday so it's been busy on the watch front.
Opinions welcome :lingsrock:

Congratulations - does sound like a good week.

The Emergency Mission has indeed been discontinued in 2009, with no replacement yet announced - although Basel is less than 2 weeks away now so there may be an announcement there.

What is the average length of time the batteries last in the Mission? and any ideas on lead time for replacement, and cost of same? :lingsrock:

I would say, depending on how much you use the cronograph, 2-3 years. Breitling wants to service it every 2 years due to the dassault-transmitter. The cost for that is between 400 to 600$ depending on parts that needs to be exchanged.

Breitling's spec for battery life is 2 - 3 years. And remember that the first service from new on Emergencies is free.

For the EM, the first service is free of charge.
Mine went for 2 years service at Christmas, came back absolutely brand new.
Not sure how much a normal battery change costs....

Best wishes,

Verner
