Skyracer is on the top of my short list. I am interested in the model with a white dial and brown croc strap. Waiting for Basel 2009 before finalizing my decision.

Any photos will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

I almost bought a Skyracer last year as a summer watch - ended up with the AS Blacksteel instead.

I do like it, and the movement is unique for Breitling, the problem with it has always been that it is perceived as lower value for money than some other models.

Davey's photos of course are exceptional as always.

I think if the skyracer replaced its bezel/pushers/crown with those from the skyland it would be perfect. Its still very cool the way it is now though too.

I love the skyracer. When I first started looking at Breitling it was the model I liked the most and was sure I was going to get. When I tried it on however it was just too big and bulky on my wrist and sadly I decided to move on.

Beautiful photos Davey and Mah! I really like that watch, it wouldn't surprise me at all if I collected one sometime in the future :D

Good luck!

Strangely enough I found the Skyracer to be a bit too small when I tried one a few years ago. I like the styling though, and the sunray dial on this is much nicer IMHO than the larger version seen on the older Airwolf.

That's partly why I'm so interested to try one again. I was pretty new to all this when I first tried it on and did think it was a little big at the time but I wonder what I would think now. Funny how your attitude towards characteristics such as size adapt over time. The other trick of course is to find a store that has one, they're not exactly common out here :(

They arent common anywhere from what I know. Ive been to many ADs and have yet to see one in the flesh. My AD said its not a very popular model so they dont usually have one, but offered to get one for me if I wanted to see it.

Thank you both for the offer. I am planning to wait for Basel 2009 before making a final decision.

If I do decide I will probably take you up on the offer.
