I have wanted a SA for a while and am just/was about to purchase one, however I have just seen the skyland on the web (not seen this one in person) and It has thrown a spanner in the works. I like big watches but was concerned the SA would not fit underneath a double cuff shirt and if I am not mistaken the Skyland looks little the little brother of the SA, am I right?

Can you get a Skyland with the baton style hour markers? When was the latest update on the Skyland?

Any help greatly recieved :D

The Skyland only comes with the stencil style arabics, and it hasn't been changed since it was introduced two years ago.

:yeahthat but a heads up that the skyland is also a thick watch. 17.40mm, The Super Avenger is 18.60mm.

lol. I have an SA and there is no way it will fit under a cuff. Thankfully for me, my new job (started 2 months back) requires me to wear t-shirt, shorts and thongs. (and I still work in finance!)

I am considering my next Breitling purchase and am seriously considering the BCE as a dress watch so that it will fit under my cuff.

ummmmm, now i dont know what to do! I think having a SA on full show when visiting clients is not the best practice if it wont fit under a double cuff!

I either select a different model OR buy the SA for the weekends>

So the SA really is unpractical for someone office based Mon - Fri!!~

It really depends on your cuff size. My SA fits under all of my cuffs except Hart, Schaeffer & Marx shirts. Fits fine under Abboud, Burberry, Hickey Freeman, Nordstrom Custom and of course custom shirts (I wear the SA to get those fitted). Just take a measurement of your wrist with the watch on plus 1 inch (2 cm) for clearance and measure any shirt you want to buy. Either that or I am just a little silly about watches. Either way.
