Hi guy's Do you think that the EVO should have been little bigger like 45.5mm or 46mm. I always though the SA is little too big for me and the EVO is little small. Now just need Breitling to come out with a 46mm EVO. to make it perfect ![]()

I've thought the same thing many times. The crosswind special I owned breifly seemed small as well. I think the size of the new Skyland and Seawolf 45.5 should be perfect. I wish the Blackbird was this size! That would be beautiful. The Evo does look pretty good on your wrist though Sometimes I wonder if our own perception when wearing the watch is scewed a little from the wearers vantage point...The CWS looked fine on my wrist in pictures, just in the hand felt small. Go figure. |

Just to hear the other voice too: wish the EVO would be a bit smaller. Now my week-day wearer is the Chrono Cockpit (have a 6.75"wrist) and it is wearable, comfy and so on. The week-end and holiday wearer is the Chrono Superocean (42 mm with a respectable height of cca. 17.2 mm - forget the official data here). Had some 44 mm watches too: for me the 42 mm is the maximum. Would have bought a SOHC too if it was somewhere at 39-40 mm. Maybe I just like to depart from actual fashion styles of big watches??? So if the Chrono Cockpit size and shape would come with the screw-down pushers of the EVO, the day-date feature of the CSO, the dial design and luminosity of the SA (with blue dial and black counters and calendar discs) and the double-push-button clasp of the Ocean Racer, the very-very perfect watch for me would have been made. Just my two cents of course. Regards: Robertus |

I just wish people would call it by its proper name The chronomat (not chronomat evolution anymore ) has been getting larger and larger in the 67 years since it first appeared. I personally like the fact that it's sticking a little more to tradition than just following the latest trend of bigger and bigger - this is a watch with a huge amount of history, it shouldn't be a slave to trends in my opinion.I also agree with Altair - that looks great on your wrist. |

I personally think that the Chronomat looks just right on your wrist size. If it was any bigger not sure it would look 'right' if that makes sense? its not a small watch really at 43.7 mm but compared to the SA it can appear smaller of course. Lovely piece, and I almost bought one instead of my SA. On relection in a lot of ways I wish I had - still might |

If it were bigger it would probably eat into the skylands sales. |

I also wish the Chronomat was fractionally bigger. 46mm would be spot on for me - not too big, not too small. Time will tell! |
