How much heavier is the ss version? I prefer heavy watches, and I've never owned a Ti watch before...is it REALLY light?
Do they mark up real easy?
I like the color/look of them, but don't want to be dissapointed if they feel like a toy.

Thanks guys!

A few years ago, when I had my SuperOcean, I was looking at the ti Seawolf. It was quite a bit larger than my SO, but yes, I was surprised at how light it was. I don't know how easy it would be to pick one up new, though, as it has been replaced now by the new ss. There seem to be a few for sale, though, on this forum in that section. The new Seawolf is, I believe, the heaviest Breitling, even heavier than the Super Avenger, although the SA is bigger. It is even heavier with the PRO II strap. I am so used to the Seawolf now, it doesn't feel that big any more. It is also very thick. I wear mine at work, with my hand in machinery a lot (I work in a print shop), but I haven't managed to scratch the Seawolf there yet. But yes, the more polish, the easier it scratches. When I had my SuperOcean for over 10 years, I got used to the scratches after a while, and just consider them a fact of life.
There are a lot of posts on this forum about various types of cloth, Cape Cod for example, that do an excellent job of polishing out surface scratches. The stainless steel can also be polished out by your AD. My SO, after 10 years, was polished and almost looked like new.
The Seawolf, as you will see, and also the Skyland, are definitely not toy-like.
Cheers,
Carl

The steel is quite a lot heavier - 159 vs. 102 grams, and as Carl says the new one is heavier than the SA.

The other thing is that titanium also feels different to steel, and not just in terms of weight. Titanium is slightly warmer than steel to the touch and can even feel a bit "plasticy" to me. Personally I've never been much of titanium fan (primarily because of it's lightness as I like a bit of heft to my watches), but some of the bi-metal steel and ti pieces made by other manufacturers can look pretty smart.

Ti seems to be about 30% lighter than steel. My CA seems to scratch fairly easily-but scratches in the the Ti rub out very quickly with a plastic pot scrub.
I went for the Ti finish mainly because of the huge bling factor of SS.

i def think its a preferance thing, i have worn a ti ring for the last 7 years non stop and notice when its not there.

i love my emergency but then its the same weight as or heavier than all of mine except the B1 and there is only 9grams in it.
