I noticed Gordon Ramsey was wearing a Breitling in his USA Kitchen Nightmares programme last week.
I don't know which model it was but you could clearly tell the strap was an Ocean Racer

Just an interesting bit of info. I was reading a watch mag the other day in Barnes and Noble and just happened to come across an article on timepieces that the many characters who played Bond wore and in what film. They mentioned that Bond wore a Breitling in Thunderball which was pretty cool because I thought all the Bonds wore either Rolex or Omega. Any other movies where the lead wore lings? Drew |

Saw that article too...interesting read. I liked the part how on several occasions Bond opened up the bracelet on several of his watches, let it slide down over his hand and used the watch as a "knuckle-duster!" Don't know if I could ever do that, but a good story nonetheless!

In Thunderball, Bond wears a Breitling Top Time given to him by Q Branch that served as a Geiger Counter. Domino's brother (a Pilot in the film) also wears a Breitling Navitimer. Both watches are easily spotted in the movie. Kind of a cool bit of trivia, seeing how everyone immediately associates Rolex and Omega with Bond. |
