Hello All,

I was hoping that i would be able to get some opinions on a couple of things. I have my eye on a 6.75, Black dial on black leather strap from an AD here in T.O. for 6K taxes in (CND funds). What do you folks think of this colour combo and the price? The other choice, albeit more pricey, is the copper dial on the brown strap. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!! :)

Since the Bentely 6.75 is my favourite in the Bentley line, I am biased.
Is the leather strap on deployant or with just the tang buckle? The Bentely with regular lea strap is about $7500, so you are getting a full 20% discount if that's the case. If it's on deployant, you are getting an even bigger bonus.
Personally, if I was in the market for this watch, I would go for it at that price. Remember, too, that our Canadian dollar is really low at the moment, so from what I hear prices are about to go up.
The 6.75 is an awesome watch! If you think you might want the Speed bracelet any time, I would try and get that now as well, maybe you could get the discount on that as well. It is over $1300. just on it's own. If you are happy with the leather, then just go with that. I have a leather strap on my Seawolf, just tang buckle, and it is great!
If that is the model you like, yes, I would say go for it. I doubt you would get more than that discount, some guys on this forum are more informed about that than me.
Go for it and enjoy the watch!
Cheers,
Carl

Thanks for the feedback Carl and it is the deployment strap so now all I have to do is talk the better half into releasing some funds for the ling, which isn't going to be easy considering the trouble i got into a few weeks ago (earlier post on the forum, read it for a good laugh) 8)

thanks again

I remember the post well! It was hilarious. Maybe promise your wife that you will never wear the new watch to bed!
Anyway, I would be very hard pressed to choose between the black dial and the copper dial. They are both my favourite. I think I would tend towards the black in the end, though. I wonder why the copper dial one is more expensive? Are they both on leather with deployant?
Cheers,
Carl

Another Canadian member was recently offer a new 6.75 on speed for $6500 CAD all in.

$6k sounds about right without the speed but perhaps a little high. $5750 sounds better on croc.

$5750 is very cheap considering that the OP says that his price is taxes in.

Ontario has 13% taxes so that would be less that $5,100 before taxes - and that's getting close to Roff pricing

:yeahthat Actually, I had forgotten you said tax included. That is really a heck of a good deal! I would go for it, even if you like the black dial with croco, now would be the time in my estimation.
Cheers,
Carl

Thanks guys, I thought the price was good too but had to consult with the experts! Carl, not sure why the AD wanted more for the copper dial, just thought it was more due to the colour, will find out next time I'm there. Now all I have to do is convince the wife, not an easy task, wish me luck!

Sorry guys, being in Australia our taxes are inclusive (10%).

However $6500 including taxes with a speed bracelet or $6k without? Isn't the bracelet worth $1000?

Though the croc runs $500 doesnt it... suppose it is a cracker deal then.

The speed bracelet in canada is 1700.00 list. But your getting a great deal anyway. Thats around the same price i got my motors T for. I say go for it fast. You never know when they will raise the prices if not already done.

Yeah you do - every May.

The fact that there hasn't been a currency adjustment to date probably means there won't be one before the annual review.

Remember Breitling's come stragiht from Switzerland so the only relevant exchange is CAD vs. CHF. Where there have been increases is things like Zenith where the pieces go from Switzerland to the US before coming to Canada so USD vs. CAD comes into play
