Looking for a blue strap for my blue face chronomat........now i do see many other colours, just seen the brown one for sale at £50,now i was thinking perhaps i could get a good strong blue dye!!!!,well would it do it mmmm i wonder, has anyone tried this?,and if there is anyone in the UK with the strap in the colour i want at a good price 200/18mm, then save me from buying my blue dye and sell me your blue strap instead.

thanks

Paul

I know a little bit about dying becasue my wife does a lot of with fabrics, and I don't think that you would get the outcome you are looking for - the base colour will affect the look of the top colour.

If you don't want to spend out for a new strap from an AD you might want to look at some of the aftermarket straps - likely cheaper than GBP50 + dye too.
