So I took the plunge with authenticwatches.com, I hope to get my PRO II sometime thursday I hope. I think my leather strap with deployant is annoy as hell. It is not snug and secure. Anyone want to buy a 24-20mm brown leather strap w/deployant?

Well if I could have had some individual who can look into the future, to tell me that straps with deployants are annoying as hell on the wrist. I would have bought the PRO II in the first place. Now I feel like a moron wasting the money for the leather strap.

I kinda like my deployant... though I much prefer my Speed Bracelet over the Croco. What color brown is it? If its the light honey brown i'd be interested in just the leather...

Congrats on becoming a FULL LING member.

By the way, how many FULL LING members do we have now?

Brian,

I don't know how many there are now but about 6 months ago there was only about 4 of us. I think we need to do a poll. And remember Full Lings only qualify if they are on Steel bracelets and the bracelets are at least 24MM at the lugs. Qualifying Lings would be Nav Worlds, Nav Legendes, Full Sized Bentley's (no GT's or Mark 6's) and Super Avengers. Any Lings on Leather or Croco straps are 1/2 Lings and if they are on Rubber straps they are not even LINGS.

I think the Flying B full size should definately be considered a Full Ling too. Its really massive, in fact I find it feels as big as the Super Avenger.

Admin,

Does the Full Sized Flying B have 24 MM at the lugs ? The expansion of the bracelet into the lugs is a big part of FULL LING Glory. If the answer is yes than I guess the Flying B could be added to the Full Ling collection, if not it's just not a Full Ling. If the bracelet is straight and doesn't have that impressive expanding contour it is only 7/8 of a Ling at best.

Yup.. the bracelets are interchangable between the Flying B and the Motors, even though they have different numbers. When i was in the Carribean the guy was going to sell me a flying B bracelets for my Motors, but it was more expensive than the motors one by $100.

Someone should make a list of Full Lings with a voting poll for selection.

I personally don't see the point, there are some Full Lings that just dont do it for me and some 1/2 Lings that I just LOVE. I will take a Datora on leather over an SA on bracelet any day.

Exqueeze me?

Baking powder?

Have you gone mental?

The Super Avenger is a MONSTER on a bracelet!!!

I have to disagree with you on this one Altair. The Datora is a beautiful watch, but it's short of FULL LING status.

Datora is a very nice watch, but i dont think that Full Ling = classy. The Datora is many times classier than the SA, but like Brian said.. SA = MONSTER, and as we all know, FULL LING = MONSTER!

Many guys I know do find the full ling's too big, and they dont like them. I admittedly find my Motors a bit big on occasion too... which is why it gets swapped out. I should have my SA next week, by the way ;)

Well it goes to show you, something you might flip over I might find absolutely awfull and vise versa. Not to say the SA is a bad watch, in fact it is a nice watch, a bit oversized and busy for what it is but thats subjective. I just don't get this obsession with sheer size, the 6.75 and the Evo design justifies and delivers the size nicely, but otherwise I would rather spend that cash on a smaller more visually apealing watch.
