To be honest there aren't too many people that go with the non-Breitling straps around here. It's not as cool as the Panerai folks and their craziness :)

Well, I guess I'd be one of those crazy folks. I have a few straps coming in in the following weeks to try some different combinations. Some will be quite colorful, some just different. :) However, not a Ted Su but two straps similar to that. I'll post pics when I have the straps.

I too have thought of getting the gold Ted Su with black buckle for my Blacksteel AS. I always thought it looked great on Ceramic PAMs but they dont have the red markings on the dial so that might not work out the same. Hmmmm

As for Breitling and after market straps, they work fine as I have experimented with them. Not the vintage ones though for soem reason. Will post some pics soon.

Thanks for the replies. Would like to see some pics of the straps you said you ordered aleister. Im caught between a black Ted Su big hornback strap and the ProII. Im leaning toward something more original. Its driving me mad.

This isn't my watch or strap. Just found these online.

Image is too big to direct tag so click below.

This is not a Ted Su but actually was thinking of getting one of his straps soon. I have this one (Gunny Caitlin II on my Chrono Avenger and also have a Greg Stevens Crazy Horse I not pictured for the CA as well. I had a Pam 24 Submersible for a while and got hooked on those types of straps so I just carried it over to my Blings :D

Well, I haven't got them yet, but here's one that I ordered:

When I start receiving the different straps I'll post more pics.

I like it. I am especially happy to see something like this on the Blackbird. Love the bracelet but makes me want to get some straps as well.

Gunny makes a good strap. If I ever get around to snagging a Pam, I'll have one for sure ;)

Word of caution:
I tried to attach a couple of PAM 22MM straps to my Bentley GT just to experiment and most were too thick, I could not get the springbars to match up with the holes in the case.
A few more scratches later and they might have worked, but I just gave up before I did any major damage to my watch case.
The end of the straps were just too thick, Breitling straps are much thinner at the ends.
Some work, some won't: just thought I would throw that caution out before someone spends $1000 on new straps becuase the MM measurement is the same.
Maybe it depends on the watch as well.

The way most Pam's attach to the strap is quite different than the Breitling springbar attachment.

Cheers,
M
