Last week I finally bought my first Breitling I went for the Navitimer World; black dial, black leather strap with deployment buckle. It's a real beauty and I had a hard time deciding between this one and the Super Avenger with white dial and proII bracelet. Finally I decided to go with a more classic look and something that fits a suit slightly better in my opinion. (I'm sure a Super Avenger will be in my collection in the future) Anyway, I've read some posts about people receiving gifts like caps and jackets from Breitling after their first and consequent purchases. Now I wonder how does Breitling know who you are, as I didn't provide my AD with any personal information. My box didn't have any registration papers or anything to send to Breitling. I bought my watch in Hong Kong, but live in Shanghai, China. Can anyone enlighten me on how this process works? Perhaps its different in different countries, so please feel free to share your experiences. Currently I'm unable to add an image, or else I would've included a pic of my "ling", as I've noticed everyone is always keen on seeing what other members have purchased (plus I don't mind showing it off ![]() Happy Chinese New Year, Alex |

![]() here in the US when you buy a Breitling watch there is a registration card and envelope that comes with the box and papers, you just fill it out and send it in, or the AD does this for you when buying the watch. (I've had both happen). |

To my knowledge, no registration card is available here in Canada. I think the distribution is controlled by a La Suisse company, but I'm not sure. I really have not seen any evidence of Breitling gifts around here. I would like to get my hands on one of the spring bar tools, though. Cheers, Carl |

Cheers, Carl The AD is supposed to send it for you - they just usually don't bother. Ask your AD and you can at least get a cap - the rest is hit or miss. |

My interpretation: The AD registers for you and receives all the gifts for himself! He then sells them on EBAY for an 100% profit ![]() |

Well they aren't supposed to do that but I've bought items here and there from AD's in the past ![]() |

Thanks Taffytoon for your support ![]() I'll contact Breitling here in China and see if I can register with them directly, since I guess my AD is hogging all my merch ![]() In the end, I already got a good deal with a 30% discount, so I guess it all balances out |

Cheers Roffensian. Although in light of the current financial climate, it probably won't be for a bit. |
