Greetings everyone. I'd like to preface this post and say that I am a "soon-to-be" owner of the Skyland Avenger. And when I mean soon, I mean as soon as I get to my vacation destination point next week to St. Thomas. With that being said, I plan to purchase the skyland on the Pro-2 bracelet, however I also plan to purchase a leather strap for it.

My question(s) are:

1. I have an ~8 inch wrist (give or take 1/4th of an inch), would the regular size leather strap from breitling work for me or would I need to purchase the XL version of the strap (if it even exists)?

2. Does having the deployment clasp over the tang-buckle decrease the length of the strap any? Meaning... Would I have more strap slack in choosing one over the other?

My goal is to have the leather strap with a decent amount of slack left, I would HATE to have the strap fastened on the last two holes, I think it looks unbalanced and more prone to falling off.

Input? Thoughts? Thanks in advance!

My wrist is 8 inches as well and would definitely recommend you pay the extra $50 for the XL. The extra 20mm might be needed.
