I have a question.

The second timezome option on my new Navi-World seems to jump time after I reset it. It seems if I want to set it an hour forward, I will stay for a couple of hours. It's more noticeable if you set it from 12:00pm to 6:00pm. After 6:00pm, you can adjust it and it will stay ahead all night. After a day, it will go to +6 hours ahead of my normal setting.

I hope I am reseting it correctly. I pull to position one, and go counter clockwise to adjust the second time zone (red arrow hand). Anyone else have any experience with yours?

Ask Naviman he gave up on his second time zone a while ago his doesn't work right either.

Brian,

I gave up on my second time zone months ago! I had mine set by my Breitling guy and it jumps all over the place as well. QC problems at Breitling on these watches I guess. Good luck.

That's messed up. I've never owned a Navi World... I would contact my AD ASAP! If you bought it from one, that is.

There is one about 65 miles from me, I may fly up sometime and spend the afternoon shopping in Fayetteville and have a $100 Cheeseburger.

A $100 Hamburger is aviation slang for a private general aviation flight for the sole purpose of dining at a non-local airport. Most often used by pilots who are looking for any excuse to fly, a $100 hamburger trip usually involves flying a short distance (less than two hours), eating at an airport restaurant, and flying home. "$100" originally referred to the approximate cost of renting or operating a light general aviation aircraft, such as a Cessna 172, for the time it took to fly round-trip to a nearby airport. Increasing fuel prices have since caused an increase in hourly operating costs for most airplanes, whether rented or owned.

Perhaps I should climb on board a G-IV @ $6500 an hour to eat a $10 burger.

Not had any problems with my World at all, Brian. GMT hand or otherwise. Obviously I'm tempting fate wildly here(!), but I've had mine almost a year and I still love it to death.

I'll keep adjusting it, I've wore it less than ten times and haven't played with it much. I have used the slide rule for some fuel burn analysis on a flight recently, which was cool.
