Hi,

I personally will put my Breitling (when I get it!) on the Home insurance and will take out a three year plan with the AD just in case of scratches or theft..and you obviously get the two year warranty deal from breitling.

What are your thoughts on these cover plans...would you ever buy these types of prestige watches without it?

All my goodies are covered with my homeowners insurance policy. I'm not aware of a policy of scratches and dings. If so, they would be a nice thing to have if it was for the life of the piece.

I added a rider on my watch to my home policy when I got it. Just take in the appraisal from the AD and they will add it. Mine is very affordable and covered for loss, theft, run over by a bus......anything!

Mine is covered by the AD, if it is stolen, broken, dropped etc they will fix or replace with no XS either.
