Hello everyone. I am new to the site and already love it. I wanted to ask for some help from people who have had good purchasing experiences. I purchased a SuperOcean Steelfish from an AD located in the King of Prussia Mall (Bailey Banks & Biddle) about 10 months ago and I wasn't thrilled with the experience. The day I bought the watch was alright, but any interaction with the store afterwards has been very sub par. One time the jeweler even refused to take a link out for me. Regardless, within the next 6 months or sooner I am interested in buying a Super Avenger and don't want to give my money to the same place so any advice would be much appreciated. It seems like a lot of people have good things to say about Govbergs. If anyone could give me a reference or recommendation that would be so helpful. Im excited to have a better experience. |

I really hope that you'll have a better experience wherever you go. I've never had any problems at all with neither my Swedish AD nor with my Japanese AD. They've always been very helpful and friendly. When bad treatment happens to you, you really want to just go there, show them your new SA and tell the shop owner - "look what you could have sold me if you had played your cards right". But, that's rather childish to do and won't serve any purpose. I've heard a few stories of bad treatment from the US (although I've heard many good ones too). Could it be as simple as when they do (heavy) discounts they also depreciate the brand and the customer, at least in their mind? Or are they just not keen on keeping their job and income? |

Wouldn't even take out a link? That is crazy. I know where I work we do life time sizing and polishing as well as extend the warranty an extra year. Find a smaller store that looks to have a more personal relationship with you, someone that understands your love for breitling. I would test out various ADs in your area and go with the most personable. |

I would love to take my SA when I get it back to the original AD and show it off to them. However, I will refrain and be the bigger person. I may inform them they will not be getting my repeat business though. One time my dad went in to get a band for his old Tag and the salesman asked if he had bought it at Costco(he had not). I thought that was pretty rude. Either way, it hasnt stopped my love of Breitlings. |

I am personal friends with the owner of a Breitling AD in Delaware. You can get a great price. Truly outstanding and knowledgeable service. No sales tax, so you will save 6% right off the top! There are only 2 AD's in Delaware so you can probably guess which one I am talking about, but if you would like more information, please PM me and I can give you my friend's name and contact information. |

This matter should be handled in a business like fashion. Call and make an appointment with the manager to make a complaint. Don't do it on the telephone! You may even need to find the top manager at the reginal headquarters if its a chain. If you do it this way then you will save somebody else the same rude treatment, and at the same time your message will hit home to the person who was rude to you! success, pete |
