I know it's a very personal choice but I'd like to hear your views on why you chose the face colour you did.

I going for my first Breitling and have decided on a Chronomat Evolution, but the colour choice is very hard... they are all so dam good looking!!!
It will be a steel bracelet with no diamonds.

My current optins are... along with my doubts...
Blue & Silver dials - A real eye catcher but will it date in years to come?
MOP - A timeless heirloom but is it a bit too bland or lady like ?
Black - Nice contrast with Steel bracelet but is it just a little ordinary ?
White - Quite nice but if I was going white I'd opt for MOP instead, MOP is a real talking point.

Appriciate your oponions, whatever they may be.....thanks

Color choice is a very very personal choice. Kinda tough to choose for other people.

If its your only watch, I would go for a standard black or white to fit more situations. Blue is stunning (what I chose) but doesnt work for every situations and sometimes a bit too much.

Personally I like the blue dial with white subs, a very close second would be the slate grey dial with the black subs. I would probably end up getting the blue dial though. There is just something about the blue that Breitling use on their watches that always gets my attention.

In my opinion its blue all the way

I'd go with the blue dial.

Hi, Trackerman. Well, I have all the colors you mentioned in the collection and I do somewhat agree with your doubts about those options. Black is always the most legible and quickly read, white and silver seem dressier and MOP is certainly dressier. Blue is indeed beautiful but quite limiting in my experience, a fact stressed to me by another collector before I bought blue but I wasn't listening I suppose. My newest Breitling is an EVO with the slate dial and black subs and it is without doubt my favorite dial color bar none. I am so glad I chose that particular dial. Besides having perfect contrast to the polished SS and black subs, the slate color seems to go perfectly with any color clothing I choose. Because of the amazing color compatibility and handsomely elegant appearance, that watch gets almost as much wrist time as my trusty "work" watch, the black dial B-1 w/UTC module. Suit yourself of course, but slate/black is not only somewhat rarely seen, it is top shelf IMHO. :D
Cheers,
Ron

Trackerman,

What a tough decision to make!! All those combos are awesome. I like the MOP a lot and also the blue. I have a blue Nav World and I love it. Black is great as well. I do not think you will go wrong with any of those combinations! Good luck and let us know what you decide on.

I would go with black. It goes with anything.

Thanks Ron,
I should have added the Slate/Black to my list, I've seen your photos and it looks great. The local AD don't have this in stock so I've not been able to see it in real life.

It's a hard decision made harder by the high $$$ spend. I don't want to regret it.

I don't think you'll regret it. I ended up getting a different colour from the one I originally intended to get just based on the way that it struck me 'in the flesh' - planned to get slate, ended up with black. I don't regret the decision, neither am I relieved that I didn't get slate - either would have worked and whenever I look at my wrist regret is the last thing on my mind

Anyway, you're really only deciding which colour face for your first Breitling :!:

If my wife read this she'd roll her eyes up to heaven and say "the only difference between men and boys is the size of their toys"

Me thinks she would be right..... :P

The black dial is sharp, and I agree with Brian that it would go with anything....tough choice though. My first Breitling is a CA with the black face, I wear it all the time! Good luck...
