How can you tell how old or what year a Breitling was made from the watch? I have seen so many listings online but alot of them don't specify?

If we are talking modern watches then the serial number isn't helpful. You can tell from the model what years it was produced between, and in the last 6+ years there is a date code stamped on the case between the 6 o'clock lugs. However it isn't visible unless the strap or bracelet is removed.
