It's just a Breitling design decision. They may be planning to introduce white in upcoming years to try and keep the model fresh, or they may have just decisded that the watch didn't look right with the stencilled numbers in a colour other than white (which would be required for a white dial).

Thats what I had thought before, and then I saw a yellow dialed seawolf...with gray stencils............and then, I saw the seawolf chrono with white dial

Ive always thought that a white dialed Skyland would be awesome.

I think a white dial AS would look great...I love the the look of the White dial on the SA, but although I have rather large wrists, I'm still not sure if I'm comfortable with the size....But The AS is a perfect size for me. I was never a fan of yellow dials, but the Seawolf really changed my mind. And the White Dial Seawolf Chrono looks fantastic...but don't like the fact its a Quartz! I already have a black dial Evo and PO, so I have my mind set on a white dial to break things up alittle. Looks like I'll have to play around alittle more at my AD before I make a decision!
