Anybody tried an ultrasonic cleaner for their lings....

I bought one for my wife a while ago, and put in one of my Bulova's.

It took all the skin crap from in the links and seemed to work well........

Just wondering

One of the best ways I know to destory a watch.

A lot of the ultrasonic cleaners available on the retail market aren't proper ultrasonic cleaners, but if you put a movement into an ultrasonic bath, particularly a mechanical movement, you run a very significant chance of destroying it - the jewels can be unseated from their settings.

Breitling use ultrasonic cleaners during servicing, but only for cleaning cases, bezels, etc after the movement has been removed.

It depends what you mean. Immerse the full watch into a ultrasonic bath would be a big NO. Removing the bracelet and then only cleaning that with the ultrasonics - yes.

Yep, if we are talking about just the bracelet you shouldn't have any issues at all. The watch head is another story. Don't do it!

Even still it's lazy. A soft toothbrush and mild water will clean all parts of the watch far quicker and more effectively. But if one must, it's easy enough to remove the bracelet and toss it in with the wife's stuff when needed.
