Nice find :D

Quote:
# stainless steel version, 1,000 pcs. limited edition, 250 pcs. each dial color
# very rare Bronze dial
So if there was 250 of each colour made, how come the bronze dial is so rare? :?

Maybe the owners of the Bronze don't want to take apart from them. :D

That one has been around for a while and a couple of people told me about it via PM when I was looking.

There are 250 of each, plus 24 gold for the black, blue and silver, but not bronze. I always thought that one reason that the bronze were the rarest was because they had the lowest numbers, but that's not true - the numbers aren't sequential for the colours.

It definitely is the rarest of them on the secondary market, but I had a bit of a surprise when I picked mine up. It was originally sold in Spain, and not until 2005 - 2 years after it became available. Now that's just one watch, but maybe it wasn't as appealing a colour to the general public so the ones that did sell were more likely to go to true collectors.

One thing I do know - there's at least one that will never be sold

I'm quite sure that you'd give it for a reasonable offer of 90,000.

Hmmmmmm, well I've been watching this bronze Le Mans on the Bay (as I was actually tempted to go for it myself as I've always fancied owning all 4 colour variants! Yes, greedy I know! ) and it's just sold for 5120 Euros or £4466.34 GBP. I had a price in mind, and that exceeded it so I didn't bid, but I wonder if it was someone on here? Hmmmmmmmmmm...........

Pictures please if it was!

Well, I would have got it if my computer hadn't died on me. :( Now I ended up as the second highest bidder but that's no good. Well, just to keep looking I guess.
