That caption got your attention, eh?

As you know, the CSO has screw-in pushers like a lot of other models. I have them tightened and loosen them when I want to use the chrono functions, but that can be a bit fiddly. Is there any reason one should not have the pushers screwed in for normal use unless you're going under water with it?

Wow, this thread is half hour old and no comment from Mario yet

The only purpose of the screw in pushers is to prevent accidental operation of the pushers underwater, so there is no problem at all hot screwing them down in everyday use. In theory you don't need to screw them down when diving either, it's just a safeguard against accidental pusher operation.

Thanks for the answer!

So the option for me would be not to screw... but somehow that doesn't seem right either...
I'll give it a try and see what happens

If I owned such a piece, I wouldnt bother screwing them in at all. If I went swimming, I *might*, but id probably be too lazy.
