I've never seen this one before...I read that it was put out in 1997 into production.

I'd always like to see a new version of the Aviastar as it has always reminded me a bit of the Speedmaster.... in a good way!

I dunno about this - the dial is great, nice depth, throwback hands, etc. However the bezel has never been quite right to me. I do agree that it would be interesting to see Breitling update it though.

I was thinking the same thing..it reminds me of a speedy, but with more textures..I love the dial being pitched up toward the inner bezel..so the date looks sunken in on the outer edge as weel as the subdials..it has alot of depth to it.
I just thought it was very unique.
