| Post subject: | Alfa Breitling Chronomat |
Hi all, Looking for some help and advise. I have a Alfa Breitling that i won when i worked back for them in 1998. I understand that it was limited to 30 watches. I am looking to sell it, but have no idea where to start. If anyone could help i would be very greatful.

Best place to start is somewhere like Chrono24 - they have quite a few low production run LE chronomats listed there. It's largely European, and it is dealer pricing, but typically asking prices are in the 3,500 to 4,000 Euro range. Yours may be slightly less because it's older, but it's also a slightly lower production run than most. Also bear in mind that these won't be the selling prices - just the asking prices. |

Hello, As you worked for Alfa Romeo can you please comment on the following:- 1) SELESPEED 2) JTS Engine I owned a Selespeed 156 and it was an absolute POS! I spent over $8000- replacing the ACTUATOR, PUMP and WIRING LOOM! ABSOLUTE POS ! I believe the JTS engine is also a POS - although my car had the Twin Spark engine. |

Well that does'nt sound too bad. I had a 156 selespeed 2.0 Twin, that blew up on the motorway!! 30 flames coming from the engine.................

I posted here to WARN OTHER BREITLING FOLK TO STAY AWAY FROM ALFA ROMEO! Alfa's are absolute crap.... I HAVE THE DEALER RECEIPTS TO PROVE IT! |

I sell cars for a living- BMWs, and TBH Alfa's are not that bad. They are very cheap 2nd hand and you tend to get what you pay for in life!! On the up side, you do live in Oz, which is my fav place on earth..... so its not all bad |
