i'm not sure if this was addressed before, but does a motors t qualify as a full ling given it has a two-tone case and bracelet? does the fact that it has such a pretty bezel and the cool (though not as great as the 6.75) caseback make up for not being fully polished? |

If I recall Ling Man's criteria correctly, I believe it has to be 46mm in diameter or better, and at least 24mm at the lugs with a bracelet to qualify. ~Brian |

rhequest, The Motors T is a slightly DEGRADED Full Ling. But it is a Full Ling because all you have to do after you get it is have the brushed portion of it polished once you wise up and realize that the watch is slightly DEGRADED. It's kind of like the Hercules it's a great watch and an impressive 3/4 Ling and all you have to do is get it polished out to get rid of the DEGRADATION. Some DEGRADED Lings are beyond redemption like Lings with a Red or Yellow dial, Lings without sub dials etc. The Motors T is a Full Ling that needs a little rehabilitation. |

haha acceldebt that is what i mean, degraded ling not full ling. the point i wanted to make was shouldnt the great bezel and caseback make up for the two-tone finish? i don't know, maybe i will wise up later, but i'm really digging the contrast. i love the full polish on my chrono, but i'm having a hard time envisioning my motors t that shiny. |

rhequest, I had a Bentley GT Racing which is also slightly degraded like the Motors T. The part that really creates the most DEGRADATION is the top of the case that you see when looking at the watch straight on. When I swapped it out for my Motors I was relieved that I didn't have to look at that degraded top anymore. Like I said though it's no big deal because it can be polished out and easily corrected. It's still a Full Ling that needs minor REHAB thats all. |

The shot above was shot with a Cannon Powet shot 7.1 megapixel. I own a Sony Cybershot 5.0 as well, but it needs to visit the repair center. ~Brian |
