part of my decision as to not asking for a SA as my gift was the Arabic numbering. I like the batons on the 09 SA..black dial..

3 Lings with Arabic numbers is enough (Chronomat-Skyland Blacksteal-Seawolf) for me!
Batons for my SA all the way; it also looks better IMO

I liked the old SA model ,but the white sub dials didn't appeal to me. Once i saw the new SA with batons and the dark sub dials on the black face ,i purchased it right away, i think it's the most perfect looking watch i have seen.

I have to say, I never was a big fan of the SA before. And that's odd, because I really like dial with numerals. However, when the new SA came out, with the batons, I really took a shine to it. I love the entire Aeromarine line, and to me the new SA makes it that much better! Sometimes - as in this case - we don't really know why we prefer the looks of certain things, and I can't explain it. I just know it looks awesome! Black is my first choice, and silver/white my second.

Even if I now like the batons more than I did before, I still favor arabics. However, I'd be happy to swap my white subdials for black ones as on the new dial.

Definitely the BATON dial!

I've always wanted the SA since I first saw it in the WatchTime article about large watches, but the arabic dial never warmed up to me. Now that there's a baton dial, I finally picked one up with the black dial. It's really is a lot of watch for the money.

Arabics is a must have, keeps the tool part of this monster alive. With batons it`s no function, just shiny form... for an entry level Swiss watch it takes itself a little too seriously with the batons. Tacky is the word i`m looking for.

I`m biased though, i like the old bracelet as well, for the same reason.
