Found yesterday a nice new Breitling B1 with blue dial. Managed to get 20% off, old model, you can never sell it.....

Have a question, on the left side of the case is a "metal plug" any idea
what the function if of this?

Thanks,

Pedro

That's a cap for the gear mechanism that allows the inner sliderule bezel to turn while maintaining a higher level of waterproofness than the Navitimers with the same function.

I'm amazed that they are having trouble selling the B1 - there are a lot of people disappointed about the demise of that model.

When I heard, that the model would be due for replacement, I ordered 30 pieces (10 of each dial) from my agent, that I got for a special price. Then I put them as a special on sale. I received only 25 and now I only have 3 left (2 blue and one grey). I doubt, that those will not be sold.

Thanks for the info. The B1 is my first non-titanium watch and I must say it is not light. The dimensions are okay as long as you don't have a small wrist :D

Still waiting for my black metal skyland, my contact said another 2 weeks.
The shop I bought the B1 from mentioned delivery times of 2 years are normal for the black metal.
