Hey guys. I need some help on a watch I found. No pics but I did meet with the seller in person to examined the watch along with all the paperwork. It checks out and seems authentic. He is also willing to go to an AD with me to verify it. He has records of it being serviced by Breitling on sept 2008 for $160(battery replacement and maintenance). There were some signs of normal wear but overall I would give it a 90% because of the age. I am very curious as to what this is worth so I can make a proper offer. He is asking $1,250 right now. Any input would be appreciated. I will definitely post pics if I do decide to go for it. BTW, is the quartz movement inferior to the automatic? Thanks guys.

If it really was serviced recently, it sounds like you've got a good deal.
What colour is the dial?

I'd be very keen on it for that price, I've seen and have paid more! Up to $300 more if sold privately and maybe even $1000 more from "internet dealers".

I actually prefer the SuperQuartz (I think it was in the 2003 models?) to the cal 13 for the Chrono Avenger....

It is on a titanium bracelet with a black face. Pretty nice looking watch for being 5 or so years old. I guess it sounds like a good asking price....
