Picked up my new Avenger Seawolf 2009 today. It came with the Diver Pro, which I kept, but had my Ocean Racer strap attached. I loved the look of the black dial with the Diver Pro, but the OR looked is better than I ever imagined!
The photos I have taken - with my limited experience - hopefully give an idea of how great this watch looks and how it looks with the OR strap. This is an amazing watch, and is the perfect upgrade from the SuperOcean, which I had from 1997-2008, and which rarely left my wrist.
Thanks to everyone at Time & Gold in Vancouver - Michael, Juanita and Marc - who always welcome me and make my visits so enjoyable!
Here goes one of my first photo attempts. Sorry for the poor quality, I need to work on a few things, especially focus. These are dedicated to Metal86, who was a great inspiration - amongst many others - and is keen on the possibility of the OR for his Seawolf:

Words cannot describe the excitement that we all go through when we get one of these watches! Hope all of you will enjoy the same soon!

Cheers,
Carl

Great pick-up Carl! It really looks super! The black dial and its composition is great and your OR strap on it sure is very good looking.

Congratulations Carl, I'm happy for you and actually when I opened the forum and saw your thread I got a big warm smile on my face. I can only imagine that your smile is even bigger. :)

Congrats on your new Seawolf. It sure is a beauty and looks great on the OR rubber strap. Hope you enjoy it for a long, long time. :D

Actually, I loved the old Seawolf, and I still do...for some reason, that whole brushed look of the titanium, and the simple dial with the numerals, really does it for me. To be truthful, for the last 5 or so years that I had my Superocean, I kept looking at that model, but I just felt that I could not afford it ( I still can't, but that can be our little secret ). Last year, I found the Steelfish and the AS Blacksteel, then along came the new Seawolf. I guess this is the replacement model for my Superocean that I should have had all along, but if I had been able to afford the old Seawolf a few years ago, that would likely be on my wrist for now. Like my dear Aunt used to say...."What's to be....". Anyway, enjoy your Seawolf, too. That should soon be a collector's item.
Cheers,
Carl

I haven't heard that expression for years...except a couple of times in this forum, and I suppose it was your posting!
Yes, I couldn't say it better: It definitely "looks the business" :lingsrock:

Cheers,
Carl

When is that going to happen? What dial colour/bracelet/strap are you getting?
I can't believe that when the Seawolf first came out, and I saw the first photo, I didn't like it at all. Now it has risen to the top, and is my favourite. I kept holding off, thinking that I would get a Blackbird this year. First, the AS Blacksteel came out, and now the new Seawolf. I still love the Blackbird, but it is no longer that high on my list.
Cheers,
Carl

Black dial on Pro II, will probably throw in a black calf strap as well... should be here within a month.
I hate waiting, but it makes me glad to see you (and a few others) getting them - the more I see yours (and Metal 86), the more I feel confident I made the right call to get one.
It will be a good "midsize" in my collection between my SA and Chronomat ;)

Forgot... I didnt feel drawn to it at first either, but after seeing one "in the metal" i was blown away (see older post).
I have NEVER looked at a brushed watch before, but this is different - the way the brushed and polished parts go togehter is awesome. And it feels like a tank. I have never had a sturdier watch on my wrist - talk about presense on the wrist. Even beats the SA, only less "bling factor".

(sidenote: I had a SuperOcean from 1997 - 2006, quite similar to you, right? But then the B-bug sickness hit me hard...)

Congrats on the Seawolf Carl, it looks good on the OR. I was going to comment about getting the clasp brushed but I see you've mentioned that on another thread.
