I own the silver dial model of the 2002 release in honor of the 50th anniversary of the Navitimer. In researching this model, I've discovered that all the movements were made in one building under very strict control. Read Kelek. The idea being to produce a movement worthy of the anniversary. Also read that Breitling coated the silver dial with a lacquer type substance to protect and beautify the dial. Now don't get me wrong, I enjoy my 2008 Cossi and my 1994 Lemania 1871 Cossi. My latest Breitling is a Colt II quartz on that awesome rubber strap. All are great, although I admit to keeping the Lemania Cossi in the case more than the others.
