Does anyone know if you can get hold of replacement manuals from Breitling? I know you can get replacement Chronometer certificates (at a cost), but I don't know about manuals. The reason I ask is that a mate of mine wants to buy a Navi QP (he's got a fair bit in his watch fund at the moment!) and has found a totally genuine one in a jewellers but it has no manual. It's a pretty complicated watch so would obviously like to get hold of the manual from Breitling. Anyone had any experience of this? |

Try asking the agent. There is no other chance, and I have no idea about the flexibility of the canadian or american agents. BG Thomas |

They do sometimes come up on ebay. My local AD can get me the books and warranty card but not the COSC cert - how are you able to get this? |

COSC will reissue a certificate, but only once, and it will be marked as duplicate. They will also ony issue it to the watchmaker who submitted the movement originally (i.e. Breitling), so end users have to go through them. COSC charges and I'm sure Breitling adds a 'handling charge' at least. COSC will also replace damaged certificates, and if the original damaged one is sent to them the reissued certificate will not be marked as a duplicate (though there is still a charge, and it still has to be done through Breitling). |
