The Breitling Watch Source Forums :: View topic - 24 series !! - fake Breitling

Was watching the first series of 24 last night. The character was called Ted Cofell. He was making his way down a lift and he checks his time. The watch he looks at is a Breitling. But I don't think its real! It didn't look really anyway.

Just out of curiosity if any one has seen the episode I am talking about. It was on the 9:00AM - 10:00AM or 10:00AM – 11-00AM episode.

I will add screen shot if know one has seen the scene.

I just couldn't imagine it being a fake knowing that so many people would watch it. I wondered if it was a fake because it only had two chronograph clocks instead of the normal 3.

I watched 24 and I totally missed the watch; the action is pretty intense!

Remember, 24 is a basic no frills show. All actors (except Bauer) are unknowners. The budget is just not there.

A few years back, I remember in KILL BILL the ROLEX used was a replica :oops:

On another note, I stumbled upon a clip of AMERICAN IDOL on YAHOO this morning and for a split second caught a glimpse of the watch one of the judges was wearing ( I think the British guy). It looked like a NAVITIMER on a leather band.... :?:

I didnt even notice the watch. I have some friends that come over to watch 24 and cant really pause and do my usual rewinds :lol:

As far as 2 subdials go, it certainly could have been a Chrono-Matic.

On one of the days is yesterdays episode though, it looked like he was wearing some type of tourbillon watch.

Simon was def wearing some sort of tourbillon watch. Never got a close up of it though. Randy on the other hand was wearing something on a leather band and looked to be platinum, about the size of a can of tuna.
