I am having trouble sizing my Chrono Evo. If I remove a link and set the micro adjustment springbar to the max, it is too tight. If I add the link back in and set the micro adjustment to the min, it is too large. I need a size in between the two. Is there such a thing as a 1/2 link for my band?

No. A full set of micro adjustment holds is almost an entire link though. It sounds to me like you are just a little bit too picky (and I dont mean that in an insulting way).

Maybe I am being a little too picky, but it's not just the size that concerns me. The best fit I get is with a link removed and the micro adjustment set to max. It makes me nervous having the springbar set all the way to the end of the buckle. It just seems less secure (am I wrong about this). I almost lost a very expensive watch in NY city one time when the springbar came loose. I was very lucky, I was wearing a jacket and when I went to see what time it was, my watch fell out of my jacket sleeve.

If you have some bad luck and a springbar breaks, I don't think it matters much if the micro adjustment is on min or max position. Other things will be more important, like the type of sleeve/jacket you're wearing (if you're lucky and the garment will stop the watch from falling) and your insurance company.

:yeahthat But I guess a springbar breaking in the past coud make you very nervous in future! Thankfully, breakages like that seem pretty rare.
