G'day Guys,
Firstly I just wanna say 'wow!!!'. What a fantastic site! Congrats to all involved.

Secondly, I was wondering if any one could tell me how many Fighters were produced? I fell in love with them at first sight and I bought mine (first Breitling :lingsrock: ) in 2001 from Sincere in Singapore. Thanks in advance!

Jim

Welcome to the forums!

The Fighters wasn't produced in a set number of pieces, and there aren't accurate production quantities available. However, it was a fairly limited production run of only 4 years, so at a guess (and that's all it is) - 10,000 - 15,000.

It is a great watch!

Thank you, gentlemen!

If you're correct, Roffensian, I guess I'm in pretty exclusive company. 10-15k in a population of 3 000 000 000 males ain't too bad! :D

Al, mine's the more traditional black face with silver(?) subs. Definitely a great watch. I don't think mine has been off my wrist for more than 7days in total since the purchase day. And I work in a factory (FoMoCo)...

Now, I think I should start saving for a Monty Datora...... Or better still, talk wifey into buying me one for my 40th (18mnths away). Question is..... Can I wait that long????
