I'm looking to buy a Breitling Blackbird second hand, does anyone own one? I'd like to know if there's anything in particular I should watch out for when purchasing this particular model. Also, is there a difference between the windrider model: http://www.jomashop.com/breitling-mens- ... -369a.html And this model: http://www.globalwatchmarket.com/Watche ... 095.aspx?1 Why the difference in price? |

The watch in the first link is the current model, the one in the second link is an older model. Also, the "older" Blackbird does not have the SS bracelet and is used. Anyway, the Blackbird is a great watch. I own the current model but I also like the older model. Can't go wrong with either of them. |

Be careful, there's a very good replica of the current BB. |

I own the current Blackbird, had to send it away to be regulated when it was 6 months old as was gaining 8-12 seconds per day. Now its between -1 and +1 per day. I get lots of comments about it and its a keeper. You won't be dissapionted. |

Any pics of the replica? How do you distinguish it? |

chmre wrote: Any pics of the replica? How do you distinguish it? viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4390 Not all minute marks are prolonged on the rep., date window is a bit bigger, date wheels are sunken, subdial numbers are smaller, upper 'B' belly on the chrono seconds hand is smaller. |
