Post subject:  Hard to get discontinued models?
The watch I want is a fairly specific configuration, and one of the options seems to have just been discontinued. Because of what's going on with the economy, I won't be able to afford it until later this year. Will it be hard to get when I am ready? Or will an AD still be able to order it? Does breitling keep a stock of old dials?

What I want is the steel and rose gold Cockpit (steel with a rose gold bezel), with the mother-of-pearl dial with stick markers (as opposed to diamonds). There don't seem to be many around in this configuration so it would probably have to be a custom order. They don't seem to have the MOP dial anymore, and I don't like the dials they do have.

If it's already discontinued, I doubt Breitling will take any new orders for it. Especially not if has to be custom made. :(

Yeah, they will custom make any watch that is made up of current options, even if it's not a standard production piece, but if any of the elements is not currently available you are out of luck unless you happen to find one at an AD.

Can't remember off the top of my head if MOP is still an option on the Cockpit - AD can check, but you will only be able to get the redesigned dial now.
