ncofy wrote: How can i tell if a Breitling for Bentley is a fake!! Most of them have a sunken date wheel, or the wrong font on the date wheel. I would strongly recommend not buying from an untrusted source (AD only) or post pictures here so we can walk you through it. There are also numerous threads on this forum that you can look through as well to beef up your B4B knowledge. |

And very many of them have the tourbillon in the dial. Thinking of what that model cost, it's quite unlikely for most people to wear one. |

Most, if not all Bentley fakes don't have Anti Glare coating (to OEM standards) on the crystal |

In person the crystal will reflect light significantly enough such that at angles greater than 45 degrees off straight the dial will be unreadable. The dial under AR will be readable until it is physically out of sight. The AR also gives a slight bluish tint. In pics the flash from a camera will nearly wash out the dial without AR. Again, with AR the dial will be visible and have a slight blue hue. |

A lot of replicas are now shipping with double AR. Even ones that don't come with it from the original manufacturer. It's become a relatively inexpensive thing to do to a watch that doesn't have AR as well. The "modders" typically charge $40 or so for both sides. |

No one in their right mind would buy a watch as valuable as a Bentley without paperwork, right? As far as I'm aware, no (physically accurate) replica packaging or documentation exists for Bentley's. So until further notice, I would suggest that you treat ANY Bentley sold without B&P's as a replica. I know that it is an extreme view, but if you don't know what to look for, its the only way to be safe...??? |

I'd buy it if the price is good and if it would be a keeper. 1952 wrote: As far as I'm aware, no (physically accurate) replica packaging or documentation exists for Bentley's.
